Come out and try something new! All summer long, at Blue Marsh Lake, we will be offering both stand up paddle board yoga as well as kayak and yoga. Stand up paddle board yoga is beginner friendly, however can be challenging at times. Come prepared to take a dip if you fall off the board! Kayak and yoga are both great outdoor activities. Leave your mat at home as you will take a kayak tour to a flat grassy location for a yoga practice.
Stand up paddle board yoga (SUP Yoga) is becoming a popular exercise. Being in a peaceful environment can add to your yoga experience as the sound of the water helps you relax as well as offers you a different perspective. SUP Yoga is a great full body workout, which helps improves balance, and if you’re suffering from injuries, it’s a great low impact sport that won’t further damage your body.
Gliding through the water, soaking up the sun, and feeling one with the outdoors. Kayaking is another great way to stay active. It helps reduce stress, is a full body engagement and workout, and improves mental health. Adding a yoga practice will leave you feeling perfectly balanced.
We encourage you to add new and fun activities to your summer. Both SUP Yoga and kayak and yoga will not only offer opportunities to create memorable moments with the people around you, but could potentially become activities you end up enjoying over your lifetime.
